I have Broadband, and would like to have 2 seperate networks. Don't want to even see the 2nd network for security. Whats the best way to do this? I was thinking of using 2 routers. 1 that shares the broadband, and the other that will allow me to set a completely different IP structure, and use the uplink to hook that router to the other router... would that work?

yes that will work. Alternately you can configure the secure networks workstations firewalls to block by subnet or host name the unsecured network.

Neocon: labels others adversely. John Kerry, vietnam vet is a liberal

The problem is that if you have some access between them even across the internet you don't have a secure system. What you may want it the internet only one one computer. All other computers have to be on a lan not connected to the internet.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Its funny. so I have to link the 2 networks using a wireless bridge since I don't want to run a cable that far. I plug the bridge into my laptop network port, got it to see the wireless network with internet. Test it by making my laptop connect through it for internet using DHCP. and it works. when I plug that bridge into the uplink of my router I get nothing. No internet.
I configured my router as a router not a gateway. Set my IP structure. but here is a question. I have a place to setup like Internet. What do I put there? I set it to DHCP thinking it would grab the internet info from the other network automatically. but when I try to get internet access, no luck.
