192.168.1.2 c$

Specs: xp pro sp2, E6700 2GB
Hi!
When I try to access \\192.168.1.2\c$ ,It keeps asking me to type a password for the Guest XP account though I didnt set any Guest account on 192.168.1.2.

Create an account on the target PC (192.168.1.2) using the exact same username and password used on the PC you will be connecting with.

If that doesn't work, when you're mapping the drive click the "Connect using a different username" and enter the administrator information (username/password) of the target PC.

Guest is disabled by default. It would need to be enabled and have a password. Not even sure guest would have permission on a default share. That was a big security hole in NT.
