Specs: xp pro sp2, E6700 2GB
When I try to access \\\c$ ,It keeps asking me to type a password for the Guest XP account though I didnt set any Guest account on

Create an account on the target PC ( using the exact same username and password used on the PC you will be connecting with.

If that doesn't work, when you're mapping the drive click the "Connect using a different username" and enter the administrator information (username/password) of the target PC.

Guest is disabled by default. It would need to be enabled and have a password. Not even sure guest would have permission on a default share. That was a big security hole in NT.
