10/100mbps card connects at 10mbps

im using a router and my main pc 2800+ kt4av-l with onboard network card connects to the router at 100mbps, but my second pc a PIII 650 MSI6119 with a 3Com 3C900-TPO EtherLink XL Adapter PCI, only connects at 10mbps it is rated at 10/100 mbps, if i could get it to connect at 100mbps it would speed file transfer up any advice would be appreciated! thanks.

all soretd now my mistake! the card wasnt 10/100 i have 2 network cards both 3com and 1 says 10/100 i assumed the other was 10/100 ive installed the newer 10/100 card and its running at 100 now!
