Windows 2000 Novell 3.1.2 Compatibility

I have a dilemma on my hands. I am in the process of converting a VERY old accounting package to a newer Win2k based package. The old package resides on a Novell 3.1.2 server, which is connected to by 5 Windows 95 clients. I have set up 1 test machine (a P3 400 with 128 Megs of RAM and a 10/100 NIC)with Win2k).
I cannnot gain access to any of the system resources, ie: files, printers, etc... from the Win2k client. I installed the 4.81 client on the win2k machine and configured it for bindery (Novell 3x). Still nothing. All the other computers are fine.
Summary: We have one Novell 5.1 Server. Most of the OS is Windows 2000, Novell Client 8.83SP1. When our users are browsing resources, they get long delay on opening from one resource to another. Gone through N...
