Subject: WIN9X bluescreens with NW Client 3.2/3.21
Body of Message:I am getting a fatal exception error after installing Netware Client 3.2 and
also 3.21 on Dell and Hp desktops with a multitude of Ethernet cards. Client
2.5 works fine. Novell reports they have not seen this before and are working
on a resolution. Removing the cable at boot and reinserting after windows has
loaded by passes the BSOD and auto connect to the network fine. I am running
IP, IPX,SPX and Netware IP. Removing IP also resolves the problem. This seems
to only be occurring when connected to Cisco Catalyst 5509 Ethernet Switches.
The same PCs that are failing work fine when connect to Bay HUBS at 2 other
sites. I assume that the network is sending packs that IP can not understand
and causes the protocol to crash. I have never seen this before and am having
problems finding good resources to get this resolved. The BCOD occurs at boot up just prior to the NW login screen. It reads at error
OE has occurred at 0028:000cXXXXX at VXD ---- . This is called from VXD (01)
. I am at home and do not have the exact memory location available, but they
are consistent. Also the ---- is exactly what Windows reports. It does not have
a name, just ----.
Any ideas on what on the network could cause this?

I have similar problem at our site here, I resolved this problem by applying win95/98 nwclient 3.21 pt 2 patch.

I NEED NOVELL NETWARE DOS DRIVER DISK FOR 3COM ETHERLINK 10/100 PCI NETWORK INTERFACE CARD FOR COMPLETE PC MANAGMENT 3C905C-TX-M
