I have inherited a Novell 3.12 server in a Windows environment (limited users access the server for a special printer).
The users who connect to the server have been using Windows NT4 workstation and connecting with no problem. When upgrading a machine to Win2K Professional the ability to connect to the server is lost.
Message: "The tree or server cannot be found".Downloaded and installed "Client v4.83 SP1 for WinNT/2000/XP", but still getting same error.
I have installed client on a fresh NT box and the connection works fine; Also installed on a fresh Win2K machine (laptop) with the same errors.
Selected IPX and am typing the server name.
I can still see the Windows community.Any ideas or suggestions?

Make sure that the Tree,Context, and Prefered Server information is correct in the Netware client. Do this by clicking on the Advanced button on the Netware client login screen.
