This is what I'm trying to do: we have several laptops running Win2k Pro and Novell Client 4.83sp2. Each has a local user that we want to automatically log in, always. We want the user to be able to log in to Novell from the system tray, but we never ever want the user to have to do anything to get at Windows.
I've looked at TID 10052847, so please don't point me there--if it worked, I wouldn't be posting this. Anyone have a solution that *does* work?

it sounds that you are not looking for an autologin . do you want to login to netware using the netware client screen but not doing an additional windows login ? then you need zenworks f. desktops to create a roaming user policy.
