Hi, on my school are using a Novell network and I'm trying to know who gives me access to them folders, for example, there are 2,000 students, so I want to know if someone of those 2,000 students gives me access to the files of his account.

a novell network user can not give you rights to anything unless they have been granted the access control right by the supervisor/admin.

I don't undestand then why I can give permissions to some of my college partners only with one click over my folder and selecting Trusted permisions.

It sounds to me like you are talking about the Windows rights/permissions scheme and not NetWare. In fact, I'm sure of it. If you are configuring permissions within Windows Explorer, you are dealing with the NT permissions proceedure.

It could be novell. It sounds to me like you have 'Access control' rights to your personal folder in Netware. With those rights you can make anyone a 'trustee' of the folder, then they can view edit, create whatever...
