I have a single netware 5.0 server in our network. (sp2 i believe) about 4 months ago some user accounts were deleted b/c they were no longer necessary. Two days ago, i was in nwadmin and looked at the license container object. It showed that about 5 or 6 of the licenses were being taken up by users that had been deleted. When i checked the connection information in Monitor, it did not show those users as having a connection, licensed or unlicensed.
Is there any way to clear those licenses in nwadmin? I know netware has upgraded NDS since, but i'm reluctant do that for such a minor issue... things are working fine, and we don't get any out of license messages. I'm just more curious than anything else

I believe I saw something about that in a TID from Novell. Go to support.novell.com and in the knowledgebase type something like "user account not logged in will not release license" it should bring up something on it.. It would be wise to look for further service packs while you are at it. Usually there are fixes for those kind of things included in the service packs.
