Have a new Dell Inspiron 600M with an Intel Pro/wireless LAN 2100 3A Mini PCI adapter. Bought a Linksys WAP54G and configured it with a static IP address to match my network. Have the latest Novell Client installed along with TCP/IP & IPX protocols. Trying to get onto a NetWare 4.11 server. Was not able to find the tree at the Novell login, but was able to log into Windows using Workstation Only. Internet connectivety at 100% using the wireless internal card and the WAP. I right clicked the red N in the system tray and was able to login to the network. I guess the wireless has to actuate before a Novell login can happen, ie...after Windows desktop loads. The problem is that now I can't login to NetWare again using the same procedure. Called Linksys and they said they don't support the IPX protocol on that WAP. I connected fine once though. I have reinstalled the Novell Client already and that did not help. Thought maybe the IPX was not binding to the wireless card.
