Can some one tell me the best way to do this migration or point me to a support document that explains my options. I am replaceing the server hardware with no updates to the software on a Netware 3.2 server. I think it is pretty easy upgrade but would be more comfortable with some more info. Thanks

If you are only replacing hardware, keeping the NIC's and the HDD's then there is nothing to do. If you change the NIC's and / or the HDD's it gets a little more complicated. If you wish email me with your replies and lets see if we can help you.

I've just purchased a Dell Poweredge 1300, and tried to install NetWare 4.11 on it. I ran into all sorts of problems with outdated drivers and the like, but after many hours trawling through the Internet I have managed to get it up and running.
I expect you'll run into the same problems with NetWare 3.12.
The old software doesn't understand the new hardware and won't play ball, without a lot of messing around.
