Well, we have spent 6 days trying to do upgrade and still have not made it! We were originally on 4.1 and had to upgrade to 4.2 because 4.1 will not upgrade to 6. After upgrading to 4.2 you must install latest service pack nw4sp9 before proceding. Then you try to install nw6. However, nw6 had so many problems out of box they have provided two cdrom overlays with service packs to install the program. Ideally you download nw6 with service pack then burn cdrom and install from that.
Our problem has been that cdrom was not recognized by nw6. Then nw6 did not like cdrom and hd that we were using.
Biggest help. Make great backup! We copied hard drive and then used copy to try to upgrade keeping original hd to use when upgrade failed.
