Updating Novell CD

Hi,
I would like to upgrade my Novell 5.1 CD with some additional drivers. I tried to copy everything to my HD under Windows and then replaced some drivers with newer versions but when I write the CD it won't boot. Is there something that I have forgotten to copy or are these CD's written in extra format? Please help

I think you've forgot that it has a boot sector: if you use nero or easycd creator you could checkout the following resource (its made for a xp bootcd but its basicaly the same idea, but then with an other bootdisk ;)) http://winxp.bink.nu/bootcd/default.htm
