After deleting the c:\Client dir I still see a novell poup when for instance connnecting the the internet. How do I completely remove/uninstall the Client?
It's 4.1 and installed under dos so there no uninsatall option under software.
maurice

UNbind Novell Client from the tcp/ip protocol and or remove ipx/spx and or check your autoexec.bat file from dos and see what is binding that makes it see the Novell challenge request.
(R U on a Novell network?)

What client are you using,
MS client for Netware ?
or
Netware Client32 ?to uninstall the MS client for Netware, delete everything in the network applet.
to uninstall Client32 (my favourite), run the uninstall program in the admin directory from the client32 install download, then remove everything in the network applet.
If you need any more advice on Client32 here it goes, turn off write cacheing, set your max cache size to 1024, start the install with a working MS client for netware (with no NDS) first, then install Client32 overtop of that. Specify your frame types after the reboot, to add speed and double all your spx timeout settings if you have ANY connection problems (used for slightly slower networks)
Have fun,
Les
