We've just installed a 4.11 server to replace an old 3.x box but can't make any clients see it! Previously just used the simple MS NetWare client in Win95/98, but have also tried latest NW Client-32. Have also tried Win2k clients with no luck. Installation is straight out of the box, no customisations.
Monitoring LAN segment shows IPX packets galore flowing both ways including what seem to be login requests but with error responses from the server on both Admin and Guest logins. Make any sense to anyone?
All help very gratefully recieved!

Colin

Netware 3.x used 802.3 as a default and Netware 4.x uses 802.2. Have you tried installing both on the server. Do you get a netware login prompt to connect and when you try to login get an error. Or are you not able to connect to the server at all.
