I have a Windows XP as well as a Windows 2000 workstation, they are both logging into a Novell 3.12 server. I would like to stop the sever from sending broadcast messages across the network. I have tried editing my login script and inserting #castoff all but that does'nt seem to be working. Thanks for your time, Jimmy

In the novell client properties, goto advanced options, and then there should be something called broadcast messages, disable that.

Another way would be to use the route tables.

Cheers,
