I'm a newbie to the entire Novell thing. I have a job line-up that’s all about novell....I would like to learn more about it.
What steps do I need to take or were do I start on learning the basic of Novell.
Just a little bit about me. I'm a computer tech and network technician, I have a background in windows and Mac’s. But I have never touch an Novell machine yet.
So any kind of help pointing me in the right direction would be very good. I hope to make a tone of friends in the novell board.
Thank you

there's some docos there. It's all a different language, so may help to familiarise with terms.

The above link will help but take the time to explore the entire novell site. It's extremely well put together from a support point of view (they win awards yearly) but some information can be hard to track down given the huge size of their knowledgebase. make sure you check out the forums and the coolsolutions patrs of the sites.
You can freely post to the forums and get pretty reasonable support from technicians worldwide.
Coolsolutions contains lots of tips and tricks that may help you get an overview of Novell's product offerings, and will get you out of trouble from time to time.I'm assuming your job will be supporting Netware (most MS people refer to this as Novell) which is Novell's file and print server. It's kind of a steep learning curve if your used to total GUI environments but it can be quickly learned. A friend of mine went from newbie to professional in about six months without any training.
Just keep an open mind and you'll find that you can do some amazing things with the software novell create.
Welcome.
