We have Novell 3.12 server with 5 WS. Previously we used to have diskless workstations and everything was fine.
We have now WIN98 workstations with Client32 loaded. My window based aaps. (word/excel) print smoothly. But when I try toprint my DOS based package on server, it takes hell lot of time to spool & to print.I tried nptwin95 but of no use. Please help

Have you tried going in to properties on the program icon and specify for DOS programs to ignore windows? Go to the program tab, click on the advanced button near the bottom and check the box that says that. You could also try capturing the printer through windows in the printer properties if that doesn't work. We have a few DOS based applications here and they require that to work well.
Also if any of the printers are one of those 'All-in-one" print/scan/fax things DOS programs don't like them at ALL...
