I recently installed Novell Client at university to access learning programs e.t.c. on the local network. I then removed the client from my computer (i never used the programs and didn't like having to log on to my own computer). However when I took my computer home and tried to share folders with another home computer I was told 'Server Service not started' and wasn't allowed to share them. I also noticed that under device manager on the control panel my computer still has the name it had on the network. How do I REALLY get rid of the client network?

if you removed the client it's gone.
are you able to check control panel - administrative tools - services : Server
if possible set it to automatic .
