Hi,
I have backed up a volume onto a DLT tape. It successfully backed it up. I then tried to restore said volume to another server. It couldn't read the tape. "error reading tape, restore failed". I've been told that i need to create a session file before i can run a restore. Can someone tell me what a session file is, where is it stored on the server and the steps I need to follow to get my data restored.
