I have tried to remove my login screen by going to User's Accounts in the Control Panel. When I went into there, it said that I needed to uninstall Client Services for Netware to get back the blue windows login screen. What else can I do to get rid of the Login screen withoout uninstalling the netware??

Hello,

the login screen is controlled by a dll call NWGINA.DLL for the novell client, or MSGINA.DLL for the MS client. So if you want the login MS instead of Netware just change in your registry the value GINADLL in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\

Thanks for the advice! However, there are still a few problems.

1) When I log on using the normal windows screen, I want the screen with all the users on the right, not the small one used in Win ME.

2) When I log in, my computer kind of freezes. When I try to restart my computer, this message pops up - it goes something like this: Loggin off will cause users who are logged on to lose their work. Continue with shut down?

If i click yes, the computer logs into windows totally fine.

-----------

How can i fix these two problems??
