I have a novell netware 4.11 server in our conpany. I would want to know how a user from another branch could logon to our novell 4.11 server thro' windows 95 and work. The person want to work in the foxpro program . A modem is connected to the server. We also got a lease line connection.
You would need Netware connect software installed on the server and the client software installed on the workstation. If you are running Border manager, which is Novells version of Microsoft proxy server you can install the vpn client on the workstation.

James, what you need is Remote Access Server (RAS) installed on your netware 4.11 server. This will allow you to connect a modem to the server, so anyone can dial in, connect and access the server. This is the cheap solution, but also is a hassle, as i have expirienced in the past. The most easier way is to but what they call a "shiva" modem, which is a special kind of modem, that connects anyone that calls, to your network. check www.shiva.com
