recover novell partition

I installed NW 5.0 as a new server on a new disk in my server. There are 4 other disks with 4.1 partitions. After all the work to get 5.0 up and running, I discovered that the installation wiped the partition on two of my 4.1 drives. I need to get these partitions and the software back.
Don't send me to OnTrack. Their software will recover files in a valid partition. To recover the partition, they want $5,000 to $10,000. I don't have that kind of money but my small business is shut down because of this.

Jim, I don't think I understand.
You had a NW 4.1 server with 4 disks. You got a new hard drive and loaded NW 5. How did the NW5 install wipe out the other drives when you installed it on a new disk?
If you installed over your old 4.1 data on your old drives, I've never heard of anyone "uninstalling" the new OS and recovering the data it overwrote (but I could be mistaken).
I hope you got a clean backup B4 you did your install.
Good Luck, RT

You could try removing the harddrive with Netware 5 and put the original 4.1 boot drive in. You just may not be able to see the 4.1 partitions right now. If this works, I would suggest you read through the upgrading processes Novell puts out for 4.1 to 5 upgrades.
