G'day
I have netware 5.1 running on a compaq server with raid 5. Ive had a drive failure and the array wont rebuild, after much discussion with hp i am told i have to trash the array and start again. Is there any detailed instructions on backing up and rebuilding a server anywhere. I have enough disks to build another array to back the data off to. I use arcserve on a day to day basis. Will i have to relicense it all again ( i run nfs 3.0) or can i use nwconfig to backup/restore nds ?

It seems that rebuilding the server from the hardware standpoint is the first step. Once that is accomplished, you should be able to restore the server with the backup program alone since your backup tapes contain all the information that was on the server initially including licenses.
