Comment: I'm installing more RAM on Novell 5.1 server we have.. My boss told me that if you want to install more RAM on the server, you need to have plenty of HD spaces or something like that.. Not sure what's he talking about.. Anyhow, is there something that I need to know before I go ahead and open up my server and install RAM?? Thanks!!!!!!!

Reply: (edit)It's the other way around - if you want to install more HD, you need to add more ram (to do the directory caching). Dunce (above) is correct - just add the ram.
