Problems with saving Excel files

We are running a network with Novell Netware 4.11. We have just received a load of new workstations with Windows XP pro installed, and we have installed the 483 client with service pack one. Our users are experiencing problems saving Excel 97 files and they are giving me no end of grief. Please help!!!

Try being a bit more specific as to what saving excel sheets issue you are having. Your post is way to general to even make a guess. I won't comment on getting XP machines and thinking Office 97 will run correctly. Office 97 on W2k is bad enough but throw green XP into the mix...

I have had the same problem on win nt machines but not on xp. What I finally did was started using ms client for netware and my problems are gone.
