I'm currently networking 3 DOS workstations and 2 Win98 workstations (with NWClient 3.3) with a Novell 3.12 server. I'm running an accounting program directly off of the server on all the workstations. I have an HP laser printer attached to a DOS workstation and I've set it up to load rprinter in the autoexec and I've captured the port on all the other workstations.
1. Whenever I try to print from any workstation, the print job goes to the qeue but hangs there. It doesn't seem to go to the printer.
2. I added the capture command to the workstation connected to the printer but can only get blank pages, and still can't get anything else from the other workstations.
3. I added nprint95.exe to the Win98 workstations but still no luck. I get a message saying Out of Paper.
4. A recent problem that's just come up is that the "0" key in the number pad of the keyboard doesn't seem to work on the Win98 stations.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I would really like to hook up the laserprinter to the win98 machine and was wondering if it would be possible for me to set up the win98 machine to be a remote printer server? I'm a little foggy in this area. Do I set up polling? How do I do this?
Thanks in advance.
