hello everybody
i have novell 3.12 server having a application loaded and 35 clients accessing it.
we have file server and a print server configured. the print server helps in network printing . when a print job is given it goes to the queue but not forwarded to the printer,as it shows offline on the screen
i dont have much knowlege about novell but have to solve the problem

first thing i'd try is unloading the printer server, and then reloading it. I've had a similar problem before and had to actually restart the server to resolve it - not sure what caused it, but that might be a last resort if you can't bring the printers online any other way. just be sure to check what printers are setup in the print server as if you unload then reload it, you'll have to select these. the easiest way to find this out is simply to open up autoexec.ncf in the console and have a look at the command line loading it and to just use those settings.
