Since one of my 3 Servers in the same NDS tree rebooted with a Critical error one of the other Servers (OFFICE) is getting the following error.

SERVER-5.0-3651[nmid=50020]
POLICY MANAGER - (5.00-014)
Connection 123 is using a 'grace' connection to Server OFFICE because no licenses were installed or available.

This message is coming up every 5 minutes

First thing I checked was the Licensing, which all seems to be in order, Unlimited connections assigned to both servers.

Next I checked to see what Connection 123 was but there was no Connection 123 in MONITOR.

Finally I tried running a DSREPAIR on both servers but this failed with the error
"Unable to create temporary file set, error-128"

I couldn't find any help in the Novell knowledge base

I'm running Netware 5.1 and have checked sync. between all the servers (all are OK)

Any Ideas what to try next ?

I'm thinking about rebooting the Office Server.

Reply: (edit)

I've rebooted the Office Server and it has resolved the problem.

I guess it was down to an NDS locked becaused by the other Server crashing

Regards

Dave
