In win95b,Allmost every program that i try to UnZip & install i get an error saying, cant find _setup.dll that is needed to complete the installation Error 103.I check for that file if it was in the progs that im trying to install and its there.I also searched the HD for it and its in system folder. Thanks for any help
i sometimes can make problems like that go away my manually deleting everything in the windows temp directory.
also, if you double click on the zip file (open it), then click setup or install to install the product, and the zip file has directories in it, it won't work. you must unzip it using right click, or the "d" option pkunzip for dos(creating the subdirectories), then install it.

I am getting this same error when trying to uninstall Netscape Communicator.
So far have not been able to uninstall thru add/remove program in windows 98.
Any help would be appreciated

Dear windows 98 users.
if there is an error of _setup.dll go to ur windows directory and copy the file sage.dll to ur source dir where u r going to install the program.this will only work if there is a 'setup' file.then rename the file to _setup.dll, this will solve the problem if not mail me.i am ready to give any advice.

I have read somewhere that the _setup.dll error is related to regional settings !! I had this problem and I try to change my regional settings to Language:English and Country:united states and it work !! I've been able to install my program !!

I have been trying to install AutoCAD 2000.
I keep getting that same message for _setup.dll ERROR 103. Where do i put the sage.dll folder to rename itÉ

go to http://solo.abac.com/dllarchive/ it has all/most of the DLL files, you can download them.

if you copy sage.dll as _setup.dll in the directory you are installing, it will work. The kicker is you have to sit and let it think for about 10 minutes for some reason. I am running a fast system and it still takes a LONG time, but it kicked in.

my comp already has a problem so i wanted to reload windows but when it starts up it says " needed dll file could not be found" so now when ever i try opening any CD i get " is not a valid win3s application " help T.T

I just installed 7.0.3 C5 w patch 10063. Previously, under 7.0.2 C3, we were getting error code 999 on an attempted bad userid/password connect to the ASA database. We should have gotten error code 103.
Now, I'm getting error code 103 again. So that's good.However, if I create a PB database profile that connects to our ASA database and supply the wrong password, and connect and then click Test Connection it tells me "Connection failed: password must be at least ??? characters" when it should say something about pass userid/password.

I have the Problem that i can`t run the install setup. I tried to take the sage.dll an i tried to download the file. It makes nthing, i can`t install it, please help me :(
