PCs sometimes lose network printers

I am running a novell network of about 100 pcs with a number of network printers. There are a small number of PCs that don't always pick up any of these printers and so when you try to print anything the pc just hangs, when the pc is restarted the printers are often all returned does anyone know why this happens, why is it only on some pcs and how to stop it
