patching nw3.12 to be nw3.2?

Have a question or two about how to load patches on to a nw3.12 server from a floppy disk. I typed load a:\ and it said it was loading and then said invalid load file format. The file names are ttsy2k.exe and lib312d.exe. I don't know exactly what I'm doing in Novell but I can follow directions. The other question is about whether or not we need a novell client box to come up even though we are using the "generic" novell login that you can setup through the control panel. This machine in particular is running win98se. I'm not sure if this has ever had a Novell client 32 login before. Our high school uses the same version of Follet software and they have nw3.2 server with the login box that pops up with the red and gray colors. Just curious if I have a place to set that client up with this version of novell. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Penny psweet@chisholm.k12.ok.us

Run the exe files on a workstation and copy it back to a floppy. Now if you have to copy the files to sys: do so from a workstation. If its to be copied to the c:\server then you will have to down the server and copy it from dos.

When I try to copy from the workstation it tells me that I need to check and make sure that the disk is not full or write protected. I've checked and it isn't, could this mean that the current username is not assigned the proper rights? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Penny
