We have Netware 6, Border Manager 3.7, ZENworks 4, Groupwise 6.5, 150 Windows2000 clients on HP d530 P4 2.6 GHz. Do you have some experiences with Windows XP/2000 + Novell client? What system has better performance and less bugs with NWclient? Win 2000 or XP? We are using all services in NWclient including ZENworks support (ZEN management agent - it has many bugs!) and performance resp. responsibility of system is very bad on new computers HP d530 P4 2.6 GHz with 256 MB RAM. Win2000 seems to be better on my opinion, but my boss want to switch it to XP. I would like to have some arguments against it or for it :o) thanks for your opinion.

We ahve had experience of both Win200 and WinXP on workstations, in this case with Client32 4.90 (previously 4.8sp2) Zen3 and NW 5.1. WinXP wins hands down! Faster MUCH more stable Easier to administer We had a raft of problems with Win2k. (Connection and Network Speed problems- needed a gamut of patches and updates) Virtually no problems with WinXP

No problem here with XP, but make sure you update your client.
