I would be very grateful if someone could tell me the answer to this question...... Type the command to replace the directory path in the second search position to equal
FS_SYS:PUBLIC?

okej, time for a stupid question, but what is a search position? i´ve seen the map s1, s2 and so on but never understood what i could use it for.

when you go to a dos prompt and type "path" and hit enter, you see that list of places on your hard drive? path=c:\windows;c:\windows\command
pretend that the first statement between path= and the ; is s1, and the next one is s2, so on and so forth.
sn = the next search number available,
s16 = the last possible search position.I believe that these search drives other than s16 overwrite the path statement. So if you decide on making a lot of search drives, make sure you put search drives to the local PC, as you would see if you typed path.
