I would like to know, if you use a supervisor account for Novell Netware to login to Windows (Yes I know this is dumm and don't recommend it) what can you do? What can you do besides just login and access Novell drives? I hear you can control the network, but I don't even see anything to send custom Novell commands to the server or anything. Do you need special applications?

When logged in as an administrator, goto the "sys" drive, then to the "public" folder. from this folder you can then access "console one" and "netware admin" programs. Between these two, you can do just about anything. Console one is located in "mgmt" folder. Netware admin is in the "win32" folder. Although all users can see these "public" files only admins have access rights to change info.

To send commands to the console remotely, you must use RCONSOLE.exe located in the SYS:PUBLIC directory and make sure RCONSOLE.NLM is located at the server. RCONSOLE Provided by netware is not secure so it is recommended to use a 3rd party application such as AdRem sfConsole that offers encryption.
