1. Addition of native IP.
2. NDS which is superior to anything NT has.
3. Far more stable Network operating system than NT.
4. The bigger the network, the brighter Novell shines.

Like JRJL said Novell shines under the work load. making partitons and time syn is so easy over a LAN/Wan that you can do it in your sleep. Setting up users on other networks is also very easy and none if this policy crap... any of the NetWare NOS's are not the resource hogs that NT/Win2000 is. one NetWare server can do just as much and more work with one CPU running than an NT box running 2 CUP's.
Don't believe all this MS bull about how well NT is...cause its not

I've found NW5 a far more stable NOS. One advantage is when a NW5 server does go down there is always a reason behind it, whereas NT will just show the blue screen of death for hell of it !!!

Novell has so many advantages over NT it's unreal.

With Netware 5.X you can migrate from IPX to IP over time. Everyone knows the benefits of having an IP environment. Novell has great security as well, with the introduction of SAS and PKIS. Using ZEN works and Remote Console, admin's can do basically anything from their within the WAN. And like everyone else stated, with Novell - The more the merrier. Novell just kicks ass.

Its simple, Novell puts out a superior product. NDS is at least 4 years ahead of anything Microslop has to offer...MS is currently rewriting NT Server to correct compatability issues with Active Directory. And to put is simple when was the last time your received an OS from MS that worked correctly?

If I am a consultant - I will certainly recommend NT/2000. If I am an employee, it will most certainly be a Novell network. Hey I don't paid for overtime as an employee - only when a contractor. I can sleep at night with a Novell network.
