Comment: Hello guys, I have a question about NetWare 5.1 serve we just build. I read that NetWare 5.1 comes pre-build with the mail server, I installed the server software, but when I am trying to access the server, from outside, I cannot access mail server, it probably has its own port, but I do not remember assignming a special port for the Mail server, I do have single IP address for all the different portals. Does my problem make sense? And if yes could you help me to figure it out please. Thank you, Gennadiy

Reply: (edit)I dont remember NW 5.1 having a real mail server functionality?! I would check the tcpcon console and see what ports are open and listening. I doubt you will find anything pop, imap or smtp open. You have to go to GroupWise or NetMail for the real deal...
