I have 2 offices , The netware 5 server is only in Office 1 . I have a netware 5 server(office1) with few desktops with Netware clients . The setup is configured for IP. Now I would like to login to Netware 5 from Office 2 over the WAN connection and use the existing Netware 5 server at office1. Over the WAN it will be IP . Please get back to me with your ideas and solution

You'd want to have a pretty fast WAN line. Even 512K will be painfully slow for the poor people in office2. They'd be able to login without any concern, but access to disks would be pretty horrible over the WAN link.
You probably have a real requirement for a server in that other office (a cheapie PC?). Not sure if it works on Netware 5, but you may be able to use rsync to synchronise volume information across the WAN. check out: http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/netware/features/trenches/tr_rsync_nw.html
