What do you want Tiffany?
If you want to create a bootable disk for a workstation:
1.- Make a Msdos/w9xx bootable disk with config.sys, autoexec.bat, the keyb, himem, etc.
2.- When the O.S. Starts you have to connect your Pc to the network, then you have to execute the following (you can put it on your autoexec.bat):
lsl.exe
ne2000.com or 3c905.com or ...the driver of your Network interface card
ipxodi
vlm or netxin order to execute this you must have in the disk the file net.cfg (please read the doc. of your nic, all this files come with the disk of your nic)
If have did it well you receive a message like "you are attached to server XXXXX" then you only have to f: and login
If you want to create a netware bootable disk for the server the way is easy too:
1.- make a bottable disk with msdos, your config.sys cannot execute memory controllers like himem or emm386 remove them form your config.sys
2.- The command for start Novell O.S. is server.exe, you have to copy it to your disk. Other files that you must have: the drivers of the NIC(Ne2000.lan or so), the drivers of the disk (isadisk.dsk or so) and of course the auoexec.ncfUf...it is to early, if you want anymore please write to my email.
