I have been given a laptop, only problem is I hit a novell login screen first and know neither the username or password and the person who gave it to me was adamant they gave me the right one! Anyway, I cannot login, ticking the workstation only box doesn't allow me in either and I cannot boot it from CD. Can somebody please tell me how I can get past the login, once there I am sure I can disable it and use it as a bog standard laptop. Thanks

Try to start windows in safe mode and uninstall the novell netware client. But, you should be able to login to the system by choosing the workstation only option. If this does not work, I bet you have the wrong username or password, or both. Please send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!
