Comment:

Loging in from win95:No Path to server or server not found when they are right there in the network neighborhood. Three attempts and you get in. WinNT has no problem.

Make sure you are also running IPX 32 bit protocol written specifically for Novell Netware.

In Control Panel > Network > Properties you need your nic card binded with
IPX 32 bit
IPX/SPX compatible
TCPIP (optional)

IPX32 is binded to novell netware client
ipx compatible is binded to microsoft client and or novell
tcp ip is binded to microsoft client.

Installed Novell 4.1 on a pentium machine. Using a Realtek PCI nic card (8139). Novell error message says I need a PCI patch, otherwise the nic driver will not work. Apparently, 4.1 only supports ISA. Where can I get the PCI patch? Not included in OEM software pak. (I'm new to download searches)
