Novell Client Dial Up

I am using the Novell client 4.8 SP3 with W2K on desktop PC. If I log in as normal to Windows I can dial up no problem and it connects OK. If I try and dial up from the Novell login (using the dial up tab)it comes up with the dialling message, the dialling message disappears and where you'd expect the authentication message to replace it is is blank and the PC just seems to be doing nothing. I have tried 5 different modems, (including a COM port one and USB and PCI). It semms that it is not running the dial up script. Any ideas ?

We have been getting the same problem. Solution seems to be uninstalling the Client for microsoft networks from the system. However, if you need the client, i haven't found a way around it. Note, uninstalling client for microsoft networks brings up a lot of errors in the event viewer (although none are critical).
