Hi.
Im trying to connect to a Novell Server (5) on my red network. Im using a Smoothwall fw. On the Green net i have a some WS that i would like to login into my novell server on the otherside (the red network). Can i do this with only open the ports on the fw? And if so, what ports do i need to open.
Regards
Anders

Is your Novell network running IP or IPX? This is going to be a near impossible task trying to answer this without knowing your exact setup and what Novell services you are using.

You best bet would be to use static IP address's and allow access to all ports on the IP address's of the novell server/s

Cheers
Mike
