Novell Automatic Login

I am having some trouble with a few new desktops that we have gotten in. They have 3Com Ethernet NICs in them, and Windows 98 SE. Everything is okay until I install ANY Novell Client and then on the restart, I get an error saying that I could not be logged into the network and to make sure my username and password are correct and to contact my administtrator. I click ok, the login screen pops up, I type my username and password and everything works as it should. Does anyone know how to get rid of the initial automatic login? Any help would be appreciated.

We had a similar problem, and it was due to our Cisco switches having portfast enabled. We had to disable portfast for any port that had a workstation attached directly to it.

Jason, you might also want to check the Tree, Context and Login Server, menu items, to access these, just click the advanced button and then make sure the tree, context and server are all setup ok
