Which version of the client is that ? I am running the latest client on a 2K machine i have no problems what so ever. The server version is not that important as long as it is 4.1 or higher. Try the latest version of client32 (available from novells website) or re-install it. Re-installing seems a bit useless, but it fixes a lot of unexplainable problems.

Try document #10061913 from Novell web site. It'll explain how to install Client32 4.8 on XP machines. I have to tell you that I'm testing it on a beta1 machine and I'm having problems!

I have recently installed the Novell client on two different Windows XP workstations. Connecting to our Novell 4.11 server is not an issue but there is a significant decrease in performance between the two XP clients and our existing Win98 clients. Has anyone else documented this?
