Hi there :)
I've Install several computers with WIN XP Pro and update them with SP3 and all patches from MS. I've install Novell client on them 4.91 SP5.
I've create local user on windows (netuser) with standard MS user rights.
After I start computer the screen from Novell client start up and ask for user and pass. OK ! I've put the Novell user, the tree and so on, and appears the screen from Windows about local user and if I whant to sync the local user pass with novell user pass. Here I type the local user (different from novell user) and click to sync.
Everything is ok - the localy created user sync password with novell user pass.
The problem :
When i restart computer, the logon screen from novell ask me for user and pass again.
I've type it and click OK.
The problem is that again the screen from MS appears and the local user is the same as the net user ! I have manually type every time computer starts the local MS user.
I whant to remeber this setting.
From the advanced menu on novell, when I type user , on the WINDOWS TAB (Local username) it appears immidiatly the user I have type in the firs NOVELL USERNAME.

Please Help :(

The username for the MS user must be the same as the username for the Novell user.
Once the password is synchronized, you'll only get the novell login screen for login.

Ok, but this computer serves several novell users with different maps.
I have to create several local MS users ???
Also i have old installation of XP SP2, with Novell client i think 4.91.Sp2
There is only one local MS user... and it's possible to run different Novell users with only this local users... without asking anything.
I whant for all Novell users the default Local user to be static - one MS user !
I'm 100% sure... that is possible but searching how :) or why not... a clear installation of XP fully updated patches... and last novell client won't do this... as an old XP SP2 computer with old client ???

Oh, I guess in this case you need Zenworks, to manage this.
Zenworks also installs a Workstation Manager.
The Workstation Manager creates users at the Windows workstation and synchronizes the password.

Also send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!

Problem Solved !
The problem was this reg key :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System] and create a new string value, or modify the existing value, called "DontDisplayLastUserName" and set it to "1" to enable or "0" to disable the restriction.

I've disable this restriction and now, i can use several novell accounts with only one MS Local user !
