Sorry if this has been posted already, but having problems posting. I recently purchased a cisco 2950T-24 switch in replacement of a 3com 24port switch. We have novell 4.11 (sft3 mirror) running and a few network upgrades are underway, thats why we have decided to move to the new switches. In moving across I have had a few problems I am hoping someone can help me with. Previously on the 3com we had both windows and novell running on it. When we made the change over, all the windows based network moved over without problems, but now the novell wont work on the cisco switches, I can't pick up the novell servers. The cisco 2950 switch is straight out of the box and no configurations made on it, assuming I plug everything in, it should work the same as the old switches. Can someone please help or know of a reason for this? Thanks in advance

Rich: I'm not 100% on this, so don't through a fit yet. I'm pretty sure Cisco sells the IPX capability seperately. You might want to call your vendor to verify, of if someone else knows for certain please drop a line.
