Comment:
I have a Compaq ProLiant 1600 server and I'm trying to install Novell 4.11 on it. As Novell 4.11 has no Bootable CD-ROM I got the drivers for the CD-ROM and installed them. But when running the install.bat file the first screen (select language) appear. I select one and continue. Then black screen and nothing else. What is wrong with my system ??

Try using the smartstart install from disk instead. Compaq will have supplied it with the server.
