OK Ayad,

What you get is volume SYS cannot be mounted because it is corrupted. That's mean that the SYS volume need to be repaired with the vrepair command.
VREPAIR.NLM can be found on original disk of NW3.12.
Proceed as follow :
1- boot up in DOS and be sure you have the vrepair.nlm file on a diskette or placed in the directory where you start up your server.
launch server.exe.
Ask for File server name and for IPX internal number with what you want.
As you get the prompt launch vrepair.nlm ( you need to type all the directory access A:\VREPAIR.NLM for example ). If you have multiple volumes choose option 1 and choose the SYS volume.
At last, down the file server and launch SERVER.EXE again.
Normally your SYS volume will be mount.
IPX Internal number is an identifier for your server it must be unique for each server connect on your IPX Network. This number can be found in AUTOEXEC.NCF in SYS:SYSTEM directory. As your Netware cannot mount SYS volume it can't read autoexec.ncf so automatic procedure at boot become manual.

So long.

Hum, just use jcmd.nlm if the server software can be made to run (sys does not need to be mounted). Then copy the sys volume to another volume(on another drive) that you installed.

Also copy the dos boot files, then boot on the new drive. If its scsi make sure its id 0.

Les
