I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME HELP. I HAVE A NETWARE 3.12 SERVER (RUNNING ON A DOS SYSTEM), AND 3 DOS CLIENTS. A DOT MATRIX PRINTER (EPSON LQ-570) IS ATTATCHED DIRECTLY TO THE NETWARE SERVER VIA A PARALLEL CONNECTION. A DOS APPLICATION IS CURRENTLY RUNNING ON THE 3.12 (CLIPPER/DBASE3) AND PRINTING ON THE EPSON. I ALSO HAVE AN NT 4.0 SERVER WITH 4 WINDOWS 98 CLIENTS. TWO OF THE WIN98SE CLIENTS HAVE LASER PRINTERS DIRECTLY ATTACHED. ONE IS SHARED AND THE OTHER IS NOT. BOTH THE NT AND NOVELL SYSTEMS ARE ON THE SAME PHYSICAL NETWORK. I WOULD LIKE TO ROUTE THE NOVELL PRINT OUTPUT TO MY UNSHARED LOCALLY ATTACHED WIN98SE PRINTER. I AM SOMEWHAT VERSED WITH NETWARE 3.12 and GREATLY APPRECIATIVE. Carlos

Sid: Rprinter donīt work on win98. And your reply to Carlosīs question isnīt very helpfull. Donīt forget this forum is to help us each other. Carlos: 1)cosider attach the lasers printers (if are paralel)to the novell server(like the epson). 2)With a old dos machine(286 whith 1mb ram without hdd is enougth)you can buld a printserver using pserver.exe that can manage the two laser printers (again if are parallel). 3)use Novell Client32 and use Nptwin95, a kind of Rprinter for Windows 9x.
